Your Own Reports

The Report Builder makes reports that the estimating reports do not have, such as the hit rate by client or the material of every estimate of a month. The Estimator gives it four data sets:

Can't find it?

What you see depends on your role. If the menu, a button or a setting on this page is missing, ask your administrator to give you the permission listed above or to turn on the feature. Only administrators can turn features on and change site settings.

The Estimator data sets are only for users who see every project. A user who sees only their own projects does not get them.

Build a report

  1. Go to Reports > Report Builder and start a new report.
  2. Click Add data set, then select Estimator and a data set, such as Bids.
  3. To add the projects of the bids, click Add data set again and select Projects under Related. The builder joins them on the project.
  4. Add the fields, groups and visuals you need, such as the bids won by client.
  5. Click Publish.

A saved report reads the data with the access of the user who made it. To learn more about designed reports, sharing and share links, see the CrestApps Report Builder documentation.
