Sheets
The Sheets page of a project lists every sheet of its drawing sets and addenda. It is the sheet index of the bid package: the sheet number, the title, the discipline, the scale and the revision of each sheet, and the sheets that a later addendum replaced.
| Menu | Estimator > Projects, open a project, then Sheets |
| Permission | View all projects and bids to see the sheets. Manage own projects and bids, or Manage all projects and bids, to change and delete them |
| Feature | Estimator |
What you see depends on your role. If the menu, a button or a setting on this page is missing, ask your administrator to give you the permission listed above or to turn on the feature. Only administrators can turn features on and change site settings.
Find a sheet
The list is in the order of the sheet numbers. Each row shows the sheet number and title, the document and the page it comes from, and its details.
- To show only the sheets that are in force, pick Current sheets in the All sheets list.
- To show only the sheets of one document, pick it in the All documents list.
At the top, the page tells you how many sheets were replaced by addenda, and how many have suggested details to check.
Check the suggested details
When a PDF is split into sheets, the site reads the sheet number, the title, the discipline, the scale and the revision from the title block of each page. The title can be on several lines. The scale can be in the title block or under the view titles of the drawing. The revision is the latest dated row of the revision table. These details are marked Suggested until somebody checks them.
- Click the sheet number, or Edit.
- Check the Sheet number, Title, Discipline, Revision and Scale, and correct them.
- Click Save.
The Suggested mark goes away. A scanned page is marked Scan: the site cannot read its text yet, so enter its details yourself.
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Sheet number | The number in the title block, such as E-201. Sheets with the same number match even when one is written E201 or e-201. |
| Title | The sheet title, such as Power plan, first floor. |
| Discipline | The trade of the sheet, such as Electrical or Mechanical. |
| Revision | The revision in the title block, such as 2 or B. |
| Scale | The scale as the sheet prints it, such as 1/8" = 1'-0" or 1:100. |
Sheets replaced by addenda
When an addendum reissues a sheet, the sheet with the same number in the latest addendum is current. The earlier sheet stays in the list, marked Replaced by and the addendum that replaces it. The original drawing set counts as earlier than every addendum. Sheets without a number are never replaced.
If you delete the addendum, or change its sheet number, the earlier sheet is current again.
Delete a sheet
To delete a page that is not a drawing, such as the narrative page of an addendum, click Delete on its row and confirm. To get it back, click Split again on the document in Documents.
