Configuration

The Estimator modules use the standard Orchard Core configuration model. Settings for all tenants go under the OrchardCore section of appsettings.json, or into environment variables that use __ as the separator. A tenant's own App_Data/Sites/{tenant}/appsettings.json has no OrchardCore wrapper.

Each setting is on this page, in both its appsettings.json and its environment-variable form.

Project documents

The files are kept under App_Data/Sites/{tenant}/Estimator/Documents, and unfinished uploads under App_Data/Sites/{tenant}/Estimator/Uploads. Include the Documents folder in your backups.

CSV price files

Price files are imported with Data Pipelines from the media library (see Estimator Catalog module). The media library accepts .xlsx files by default, but not .csv files. To import CSV price files, add .csv to OrchardCore:Media:AllowedFileExtensions. The list replaces the default list, so name every extension to keep, including the audio and video extensions your site uses. For example, for images, documents, spreadsheets and CSV files:

As environment variables, each entry is numbered:

The web host in this repository keeps the full default list and adds .csv in its appsettings.json. Do not add an extension that OrchardCore:Media:RestrictedFileExtensions lists, such as .svg: the site refuses to start a request when the two lists overlap.
